Description

This course provides an introduction to the study of the structure and functions of the human body and is designed to help students develop an appreciation for the body as it relates to health and disease, and to emphasize the body as it relates to everyday living experiences. It is recommended for non-science majors as part of a sequence with BIO 145 – Principles of Biology. This course may also be taken as an elective to prepare students to take BIO 262 – Anatomy & Physiology I. The course may be taken as a hybrid with on-campus lab or as traditional on-campus course with lab.
