Description

The historical experience of African Americans has generally been overlooked and marginalized in the dominant historical narrative. The content of this course spans one hundred thirty years from the end of the Reconstruction period to the present day and aims to write into the historical context of all Americans and African Americans, their contributions to shaping this nation, and their distinct struggles and experiences.
