Description

This course examines the structures of the religious imagination and its sacred stories and how they shape our sense of self and society. Themes covered include Creation, Sacred Trees, the Sun and Moon, the Hero, the Trickster, the Warrior, Goddesses, the Lovers, the Healer, the Teacher, and the End of the World. Greek mythology and examples from ancient and contemporary culture are used.
