Description
This course introduces the fundamentals of Robotics and Robotic systems. The course provides an overview of various robotic system architectures and then walks students through the electro-mechanical fundamentals of robotic systems, including chassis, motors, motor drivers, processing, sensor systems and manipulators. They will then work in groups to outfit an Autonomously Guided Vehicle (AGV) and equip it with sensors and will also learn to program the robot using C/C++ to fulfill various navigational objectives autonomously.
